Traders Super Summit by BetterTrades
One of the most popular events hosted by BetterTrades each year is the Traders Super Summit, a three-day extravaganza that brings each member of the company's coaching staff into one place and gives students a rare opportunity to hear each one at the same event. The Traders Super Summit allows likeminded individuals a chance to network with each other, establish friendships that often endure for years, and absorb the latest material, strategies and techniques from the members of the BetterTrades coaching staff.
The 2010 Traders Super Summit will be held for the second consecutive year at the Walt Disney World Resort and is scheduled for June 17-19. The date is later than it was in 2009 in order to permit families to bring their children and make the occasion a working vacation.
The 2009 Traders Super Summit was held in Orlando for the first time at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel and had a "Trading Magic" theme. All members of the coaching staff were on hand and a new Financial Freedom Expo was recorded before a live audience. The people in attendance also enjoyed participating in the taping of the company's new television commercial, which featured host Erica Shaffer and BetterTrades founder Freddie Rick.
Also present at the Trader Super Summit in 2009 was spokesman Jimmy Johnson, the successful former football coach who is currently an analyst for Fox Sports. Jimmy Johnson, who joined the BetterTrades team in 2008 after graduating from the program, brought a couple of his buddies to the event: Thurman Thomas and Ed McCaffrey. Thomas, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame, was best known for helping the Buffalo Bills reach the Super Bowl twice against Johnson's Cowboys (losing both times), while McCaffrey has three Super Bowl rings and is best known as John Elway's favorite receiver in Denver.
The "Trading Magic" show also marked the unveiling of the new BetterTrades website, which had a cleaner look and gave students the ability to watch free online classes on a 24/7 on-demand basis. The new site put all the company's coaches on one place and made it easier to locate goods, services and classes.
The first Trader Super Summit was held in Dallas in 2008 and marked Jimmy Johnson's debut as a BetterTrades spokesman.
