The first coach to visit the new studios at the BetterTrades office in Atlanta was Ryan Litchfield, who flew in from Seattle to take the crew on its maiden voyage for the Summer Studio Sessions. Always prepared and professional, Ryan Litchfield was the ideal coach to test the capabilities of the new digital studio.
Ryan is an experienced trading instructor who has several subjects he enjoys teaching. They include:
- How to set up trades when the market is closed in order to reduce emotions involved, establish potential exits and entries depending on how the stock reacts, and read and interpret patterns that can be seen every day.
- How to read and interpret Japanese candlesticks and charts. Few people know more about candlesticks than Ryan Litchfield, who is co-author of the definitive book "Candlestick Charting Explained." Ryan helps students learn how to apply the use of Japanese candlesticks with modern Western charting methods in order to produce the best results.
- How to respond better under pressurized situations and avoid the common traps that can ensnare students when they trade with emotion. The class is designed to help students see and plan countermoves, recognize and take advantage of opportunities, and understand which tactics work and which ones don't.
- How to recognize and read price patterns that can potentially make a huge difference in the bottom line. How to properly draw important support and resistance lines, increase profits by putting trend lines in the right place, and recognize topping patterns, recovering patterns and compression patterns.
