Traders Super Summit 2009 Features Freddie Rick and Pro Football Coaching Legend Jimmy Johnson

Excitement began to build for weeks leading up to the opening day of BetterTrades' 2009 Traders Super Summit held May 28-30 in Orlando, Florida. First it was announced that the company's annual trading conference would be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando. The hotel's reputation for service and proximity to local entertainment made it an exceptional location for the action-packed three-day event.

Further excitement came with the news that pro football coaching legend Jimmy Johnson would once again join the line-up of speakers. An active trader, Johnson is a proud student and promoter of the BetterTrades system. Shortly after that announcement, it was revealed that Jimmy would be joined by a couple of his pro football friends - Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas, former running back for the Buffalo Bills, and Ed McCaffrey, former star wide receiver for the Denver Broncos. Thomas and McCaffrey are two of BetterTrades' newest students, having recently completed the Market Essentials™ workshop, the company's core stock market education seminar.

Attendees were also thrilled by the fact that nearly every member of the BetterTrades coaching staff had a speaking slot on the agenda - something that only happens at Traders Super Summit. With all this and the valuable trading information provided, the event lived up to its name and provided attendees with pure "Trading Magic."

Something for Everyone

As the nearly 400 attendees began to flood the meeting room bright and early Thursday morning, May 28th, they were treated to a visual feast for the eyes. Because Traders Super Summit forms the setting for a 30-minute BetterTrades television show that is filmed during the event, California-based advertising agency Euro RSCB Edge constructed a stunning main stage set. Just as attendees found their seats, company founders Freddie Rick and his wife, Mitzi, took center stage, kicking off the event in fine style.

"We are so glad you are here," Freddie shouted to the crowd. "This conference has the power to change your life, if you let it. So get ready to learn to trade stocks and options. There is something here for everyone." With that, Freddie brought up veteran specialty coach Doug Sutton, who quickly launched into an in-depth demonstration of trading strategies that can work in bullish, bearish or neutral markets.

Over the next three days, attendees were treated to an incredible line-up of trading coaches who covered a full array of trading strategies. Speakers included:

As sometimes happens with well-laid plans, unexpected surprises arise. This event proved to be no exception as Friday morning Mitzi once again joined Freddie on stage to announce that her husband had developed laryngitis, which would limit his speaking abilities. Freddie's illness prompted on-the-fly schedule changes, which provided opportunities for Market Essentials coaches Rich Latimer, Bill Corcoran to address the audience and share their strategies. They ably stepped into the time gaps and added their presentations to the day's agenda.

Lights, Camera, Action

As the main stage program continued to roll through Friday and Saturday, so did the television cameras. The simultaneous filming of the BetterTrades television program added a high level of excitement to the meeting. At the specially-designed trading pit near the back of the room, camera crews continually filmed people who were there to share their BetterTrades success stories.

Jimmy Johnson shared his professional television persona - and his trading expertise - as well, both in front of the camera and on the main stage. Jimmy, who has been a regular student with BetterTrades for more than a year, quipped that he'd "learned more from BetterTrades in two days than I did from my broker in twenty years. I definitely encourage you to listen and learn how you can take more control of your finances. It's a system that works."

By Saturday afternoon, Freddie's voice had recovered enough for him to return to the main stage to film the opening scene of the BetterTrades television program, which began to air in January 2010.

The 2010 Traders Super Summit will return to Orlando, Florida on June 17-19, 2010.
